Law enforcement a disgrace to warden service

Are Canadians not understanding?

Does no one realize what is happening to the Warden service?

The turmoil and the millions of dollars that will and have been spent is a response to a complaint to the union in 2001, which opened up Pandora’s box and awoke the dragon.

The decision to make one-fourth of all wardens law enforcement officers which will carry side-arms and the other three-quarters resource management public safety officers has ripped and shredded the heart, soul, and guts out of the Warden service. There will be NO MORE warden service as we once knew it.

That uniform and badge turns men and women into a band of brothers with incredible devotion and dedication to duty, each other and most importantly to be the guardians of our national parks. Their training, beliefs, and commitment made them one of the most respected forces in the world.

Only Ottawa, politicians, bureaucrats and unions are capable of making such a ludicrous decision. Sadly, it’s on the eve of the 100 years centennial of the warden service. What are they to celebrate? I say to you all stand up, stand tall and stand together.

No puppy love lost

The wording in the front page article on by-laws and animal neglect may have given the reader the idea that there was animal neglect on the part of Mr. Edwin Richard. There was none and the Judge made that clear in court. Case closed.

Too bad some people can’t get it right. Hopefully this will help.
