Grande Prairie cyclist hurt in hit-and-run

 

Police are looking for a newer black sedan with Alberta plates after a hit-and-run in Grande Prairie Sunday night.

Mounties responded to the collision between a cyclist and a car at 102 Avenue and 109 Street at about 7:30 p.m. Oct. 1. A 35-year-old man had suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.

The driver, which witnesses describe as a heavier set female, fled the scene in her car, a newer dark sedan with a booster seat.
